ROSE POSTERS

This is an informative piece that talks about meanings of different flowers and flower colors. It’s informative and visually eye catching, while staying simple and not overwhelming the viewer with too much information. This is also a theoretical application, where customers could tap through to look at different types and colors of flowers to decide what they want. This app could be helpful to busy florists or for anyone who is interested in learning more about flowers.

The process for this project began with a single blue rose. From there, I experimented with different color schemes, a few of which did not end up in the final. I researched the most common rose colors seen in flower shops, and went with the top 9, to make 3 even rows of 3 for the poster. I also went through many different versions of the poster before settling on the final one, two of those are shown below, as well as different rose color experiments that didn't make it into the final poster.
