COMMEMORATIVE STAMPS

I was tasked with designing a commemorative stamp block celebrating 20th century American Industrial Designers. The specifications were that the final stamps must represent the entire century, and showcase the different types of designs throughout.

I researched the most relevant designers and designs of the 20th century in America, and I came up with eight designers and designs that spanned from 1908 to 1988. I put a gradient overlay on these stamps to represent a progression of time through the century. The colors give a vintage feel to the stamps, while still having a modern and interesting design to catch the user’s eye.
